Transit of Phobos
You are the captain of the starship *Aethelgard*, commanding a vital transit mission in low Mars orbit. The year is 2120, and a devastating act of sabotage has left your vessel caught in the decaying orbit of the moon Phobos. The gravitational pull is dragging you down; a premature, high-velocity engine burn is your only hope of escape. But the saboteur is your own chief engineer, currently stranded on the crumbling research outpost below. As he begs for retrieval, you hold the ignition switch in your hand. Blasting off now guarantees the safety of your remaining crew and exacts a silent, perfect vengeance. Waiting even a minute longer to rescue him risks tearing your starship apart. With the hull groaning under extreme tidal forces and your life support systems failing, every decision rests on your shoulders. Will you rise above the betrayal to save a criminal, or will you let the cold gravity of Phobos consume your humanity?
