The Midnight Spark
You always thought the midnight birthday countdown was just a silly, lonely tradition—a cold beer in one hand, a cheap cupcake in front of you, counting down the seconds to October 3rd alone in your quiet apartment. But as you tap your bottle and blow out the single candle, the golden sparks don't fade. They multiply, igniting the air around you and swallowing your living room whole. You awake in the Echo, a shimmering, twilight realm where every unmade choice, abandoned dream, and forgotten wish of your life has taken physical form. Guided by whimsical spirits and haunted by the ghosts of your own past, you are offered the ultimate gift: the chance to rewrite your history or forge a brand-new destiny. But magic born of a birthday wish is fleeting. You only have until the digital clock on your nightstand clicks from 12:00 AM to 12:01 AM to find your true desire and escape. Will you cling to what could have been, or find the courage to step into what lies ahead?
