The iron portcullis of the Hollow Keep hangs shattered, its jagged teeth biting into the frost-slicked stone of the threshold.

You are the leader of a small company of adventurers, drawn by rumor and reward to the Hollow Vaults: a carved necropolis sunk beneath a ruined keep. The tunnels smell of old stone and older magic; shadows move with purpose, and every step downward tightens the noose of danger. Your goal is simple and terrible — reach the lowest chamber and claim the Scepter of the Hollow King. You will weigh the lives of your companions against hunger and cold, choose when to use the last of your arcane power, and resist the liche's seductive promises. The deeper you go the more the air tastes of bone and iron, and the less certain you are of who you might become on the other side. Beneath the scepter's light waits glory, treasure, and a power older than any crown. But the Hollow King does not yield his prize willingly — for every victory there is a cost, and every choice bends the shape of your fate.

Your veteran fighter, Kael, rests his hand on his sword hilt, his knuckles white with tension. Beside him, Elara the scholar traces the glowing, unstable runes etched into the archway, her brow furrowed in concentration. The light from your lone torch flickers against the vaulted ceiling, casting long, erratic shadows that seem to detach from your bodies and creep toward the abyss deeper in the hall. Ahead, the floor splits. To the left, a flight of stone stairs descends into a flooded cellar, where the sound of sloshing water and shifting chains echoes rhythmically. To the right, a narrow corridor lined with alcoves filled with rotted, leather-bound tombs leads toward the armory, offering a potential path th…
