Lewis and Clark Expedition (1804–1806)
You are part of an expedition pushing west from St. Louis in 1804, a small band of men, keelboats and journals bound for the unknown. The Missouri swallows the horizon, bluffs rise like ancient walls, and every bend in the river could reveal a new tribe, a dangerous rapids, or a prairie humming with bison. You move by sweat and compass, cataloging plants and stars while the cold, hunger and river gorge test the limits of endurance. You must keep the crew alive, earn the trust of the people you meet, and choose paths that will carry you toward the Pacific or strand you against a winter you cannot outwait. Nights are full of wolves and questions; days are full of forage, barter, and the crack of oars. The land is beautiful and indifferent, offering discovery to those who learn its rules and peril to those who ignore them. You step into a continent still being named, and every decision leaves a trail.
